I am standing in line at Walmart the other day. This is a trip that I dread for so many reasons that I won't get into. I get what I came for and I get in line to pay. I guess I just zoned out and apparently was wearing my unhappiness all over my face. So to my suprise the cashier looks at me and asks "Are you ok?" I was so caught off guard. Usually I can't get a cashier to acknowledge I am standing there let alone take in interest in my well being.
So I told her I was fine and I also thanked her soooo much for asking. This was a total pick me up for the rest of an otherwise crappy day. Next time I go to Walmart I don't think I will dread it quite as much. Hopefully my new friend will be working. ;)
